The throttle connects to channel (3)
The auxiliary connects to GYRO channel (5)
For calibration, use a spare model. Set the model
type [TYP] to [AERO] .
Note: If there is no spare model, you can use
any channel for calibration as long as the EPA is +/-100%.
The auxiliary channel is assigned to the RETRACT/GEAR switch in AERO mode.
Endpoint setup [EPA]
Setup the throttle servo and linkage as close to
+/- 100% EPA as
possible.
Select the GEAR channel and set the [EPA] to +100% and -100%
The system is now ready for
calibration. Calibration Procedure
Now return to the original model [HELI]
The target rotor speed can be calculated using
the EPA Calculator
Example : Flight Mode Mixing:
Select the [GYR] menu
Set F-Mode N to 0%
Set F-Mode 1 to 42% (1200rpm @ 9.3:1)
Set F-Mode 2 to 74% (1500rpm @ 9.3:1)
Set F-Mode 3 (Throttle Hold) to 0%
Yeilds the following setup:
